I bought this CD because of the 'Love Story' song..but was happily surprised at how many other songs are amazing on this cd. She writes most of her own music, and quite a few of these songs have nice lyrics and really peaceful melodies :)

This is an album that everyone will love. My 8 year old daughter loves to sing along with it and I must admit I play it even when she is not in the car. Almost every song on this album is great. So glad we purchased this album.

I thought this cd was one of the most well written (lyrically) albums I've heard for a long time. She no doubt deserves every grammy but her written is so well written. Highly recommened for younges in college who like something to play when their partner is around..

My favorite songs in order are as follows:
'The Best Day', 'You're Not Sorry', 'Breathe' (Feat. Colbie Caillat) and 'Love Story', mostly slow songs. 'White Horse' is right behind.
'Hey Stephen' is also a good song. It's very cute because of the "mm mm mm mm"'s in the song. Like Taylor could just eat the boy up for dessert.
'Fearless' is also a subdued highlight. I didn't really notice it much when I first got the album about 2 weeks ago. But now I like it a lot.
'Fifteen', 'You Belong With Me' both singles, 'The Way I Loved You' (with its playful way with words in the verses and during the bridge) and 'Forever & Always' are also all good tracks.
The only tracks I don't care for that much are the passable 'Tell Me Why' which sounds strangely similar to her song 'Picture To Burn' from Taylor Swift and the unnecessarily-bad and shaky vocal of 'Change'.
Besides that, this is a good collection of songs that makes a pretty good album.
Taylor has made a nice album. Her songwriting is pretty good, especially for her age, her melodies are pleasant and although her voice sometimes needs work (not to mention better range) these songs are fitting for tons of children, pre-teens, teens and even your adult who's willing to engage.
No major complaints.

I bought FEARLESS hoping Taylor Swift had gone to the next level.. but sadly, the cd is full of simple, teen-pop songs that really have no substance or timeless quality. Let's all get real - Taylor is just another pop product that is today's flavor of the month... how can she be a "brilliant" songwriter when most of her lyrics feature lines like "I'm on the bleachers, you're on the dancefloor"... "he wore a grey sweatshrit to the prom", etc. The fact that FEARLESS won a grammy for Album of the Year is an embarrassment to the entire music industry and a slap in the face to other talented country/pop artists, most notably Carrie Underwood (who is the total package: incredible voice, talent, power, grace, who sings about meaningful and emotionsl topics from "So Small" to the recent "Change" and Temporar Home"). Yes, I bought this cd like millions of others, but America is being duped into believing Taylor has talent, when in fact, she is really no different than Miley or Selena Gomez... a expertly calculated star appealing to young female fans. The reason Taylor won't perform on the same stage (show) as Carrie Underwood is becaue she would be blown off the stage !! One question: how can FEARLESS win Album of the Year when CARNIVAL RIDE did not... even though CR sold 3mm records, 5 #1 singles, and featuring an incredible variety of songs and styles all done perfectly. This truly is a sad day in music but the real travesty is all those grammys cannot be taken back... go Team Underwood.
